Chris Ferris – The Gen-X 80’s Show

From synth-pop to hair metal and all the bad wardrobe choices in-between, Chris is a fan of everything from the decade of greed.  Growing up on the music and listening to Blondie and U2 while driving around in the 80’s made a big impact on him.  After volunteering at WHFC as a student for a year, he was given his own time slot and the opportunity to make his own show.  It was then that Chris decided he needed to share his deep love for the 80’s with anyone who would stay up late and listen.  It was then that The Gen-X 80’s Show was born. Since 2005 Chris has been collecting and spinning his “stax of wax” for WHFC’s fans of leg warmers and big hair, and doesn’t plan on stopping anytime soon.
