About
The Music program at HCC boasts a full
two-year experience for the music major that
rivals the first two years of any surrounding
institution. Harford’s music faculty features some
of
the finest performers, composers, and educators
in the
region who are continually active in performance
and
compositional work. Harford continues to provide
excellent ensemble experiences for its music students,
who may perform with such instrumental groups as
the Harford Community College Jazz Ensemble,
Susquehanna Symphony Orchestra,
and Bel Air
Community Band, or the vocal ensembles
Second Shift,
Harford Choral Society, and HCC’s Chamber
Singers.
A two-year degree in Music at Harford transfers
extremely well to
surrounding universities for a fraction of the cost. When coupled
with smaller class sizes and more individualized attention from
experienced professors who care about their students, Harford’s
Music
program offers the most comprehensive musical experience in the
area.
