Database Management

Access Intermediate Features  
This course is designed for participants who have previously used Microsoft Access and can create a simple database. This course will expand on basic concepts and build skills to create more complex databases. Topics include creating multiple table queries; using table templates; importing data from Excel; normalizing data; analyzing queries, forms and reports; and creating a parameter query. Prerequisite: Access 2010 QuickStart or Access 2010 experience. Textbook and USB Flash Drive required. Senior adult and disabled retiree tuition waivers apply. Transcript available.

Access QuickStart  
Afraid of Microsoft Access? Using existing database examples, learn the fundamentals of good database design, explore key terms and concepts, get acquainted with Access program components, create a database, use queries to find and analyze data, and design simple forms and reports. Microsoft Access Adv Features  
This course is designed for participants who have previously used Microsoft Access 2010 and are comfortable with its basic and intermediate features. This course will expand on the student's knowledge and will teach the advanced features of the software. Topics include creating advanced reports, managing database objects, creating macros, creating modules, and maintaining a database. Prerequisite: Access 2010 QuickStart and Access 2010 Intermediate or extensive Access 2010 experience. Textbook and USB Flash Drive required. Senior adult and disabled retiree tuition waivers apply.
