This course is designed for medical care providers and provides instruction for CPR (one- and two-rescuer) and relief of choking for the adult, child, and infant victim. Topics include the use of airway devices like the bag valve mask and various pocket masks. All participants must be able to kneel on the floor beside a manikin for extended periods of time. ICD-10 is an upgraded diagnostic and procedural medical coding system that, by law, must be implemented throughout the healthcare industry by October 1, 2014.
