Driver Education

Driver Education

This course is required for those who want to obtain a driver's license. To register, bring birth certificate or learner's permit to Harford Community College's Edgewood Hall. Students must be age 15 by first class session. * 30 hours of classroom instruction (ten 3-hour sessions) * 6 hours of behind-the-wheel instruction by appointment * Classroom instruction meets in Joppa Hall, Rm. 13. This course meets the MVA GRADUATED LICENSING PROGRAM. Parents are invited to attend the first class session with the student. Senior adult and disabled retiree tuition waivers apply.

Driver Improvement

MVA-approved course to improve your driving and maybe even save your life. Meets MVA requirements for those drivers assigned to complete this program in order to retain their driving privileges. Must be on time for class. Late students are not allowed to attend class because they must complete the full amount of hours stipulated by the MVA in order to receive a certificate. Bring ID and letter from MVA if applicable. Senior adult and disabled retiree tuition waivers apply.
