Spring 2013 Conference: How to Create Classroom Magic (in Partnership with 1st Connection, Inc.). Participants will have the opportunity to choose from 2 topics: "Silly Science & Magic Math" or "Ideas and Techniques on a Dollar Store Budget". (Both offerings will provide "Curriculum" Core of Knowledge CEUs.) These programs are designed to new ideas to even the most seasoned teacher. Well over 200,000 children age 3 and younger now live in Maryland. Join us for an evening to review what early learning guidelines can be used to create a valuable part of a comprehensive, high quality system that contributes to young children’s educational experiences and to their future success. | The Young Child |
Designed to provide students with knowledge to meet the needs of the young child from birth to age seven. Emphasis is on the practical aspects of caring for young children, creating environmental settings instrumental in providing optimal development, and guidelines for selecting quality childcare and educational programs. Readings and discussions on special concerns and current issues in the field of child development will be offered.
