Bartending
| A Course in Bartending |
For bartenders, bar operators, or others intending to enter those jobs, this course presents the basic procedures for implementing and maintaining a bar operation. Learn the various forms of alcoholic beverages including wine, beer, and spirits; how to stock a bar; bar layout; and other duties and functions of the bartender. In Maryland, alcohol servers must be at least 18 years old. Senior adult and disabled retiree tuition waivers apply. Transcript available.

| TIPS Alcohol Intervention |
This class covers the responsible service and sales of alcohol. TIPS is a skills-based, international designation program that is designed to prevent intoxication, underage drinking, and drunk driving. The state of Maryland recognizes this class to satisfy the requirements that regulate server training. Students must present a state issued ID on the first night of class. In Maryland, alcohol servers must be at least 18 years old. Senior adult and retiree tuition waivers apply. Transcript available.
