Programming
Assembly Programming Language
This course covers the characteristics and functions of a microcomputer assembly language. The students learn to solve problems using assembly language for Intel IA-32 processors. Topics include the fundamentals of assembly language programming, IA-32 processor architecture, real mode and protected mode programming, and computer hardware manipulation. Laboratory consists of coding and debugging programs. Prerequisite: Moderate computer experience and experience with at least one other programming language. Textbook required. Senior adult and disabled retiree tuition waivers apply. Transcript available.
