Registration and Records

Graduation Procedures

IMPORTANT: You must complete a graduation application if you wish to receive a degree or certificate regardless of your participation in the commencement ceremony.

To apply for graduation, you must:

1.       Meet with an academic advisor to ensure you have met, or are on track to meet, the requirements of your degree and/or certificate.  You should also read the college's Graduation Policies page.

2.       Ensure that the Registration and Records Office has current information on your intended degree and/or certificate.  To locate this information, view your unofficial transcript via OwlNet (Registration & Transcripts channel on the My Academic Life tab).  To update your intended degree/certificate, you must complete an online Change in Academic Intent Form.

3.     Complete the online graduation application

OR

Print and complete the paper application for graduation no later than:

* March 1 for May graduation

* June 1 for August graduation

* October 1 for December graduation

PLEASE NOTE: If you do not meet the requirements for the graduation term for which you are currently applying, you must submit another application to be evaluated for a future graduation date.
