Facilities Master Plan
In 2008, the College's Board of Trustees approved a new Facilities Master Plan.
The former plan was initiated in the late ‘80s and
guided us for many years, but it became outdated and the College needed a
new plan.
The Board and I are very pleased with the new plan and believe it will
set direction for the growth of the College for the next 15-20 years. The
architects for the plan, JMZ Architects and Planners, located in Glens
Falls, NY, did an excellent job. JMZ’s president, Bob Joy, worked with the
College Advisory Council to hold several open forums to seek input from
students and employees.
The plan proposes new buildings for both the Main and West Campuses,
reconfigures roads and walkways, addresses the need for more parking and
preserves “green” areas consistent with our concerns for the environment.
I am very excited about this plan and its potential to guide us into the
future. There is no question our great College will continue to grow, and
this plan will help us expand our physical facilities to match our
enrollment and programmatic growth.
Please use the links below to review the plan. I trust you will be as excited as I am about this new plan and the
College’s future.
