Mission Statement of International Education
International Education at Harford Community College
promotes global awareness through initiatives that link the College
to the world community of peoples, cultures, and nations.
International Education Initiatives
Expand Student Global Awareness

Provide travel opportunities for students to
experience other countries and cultures

Enhance interaction among local and foreign
students

Sponsor seminars, workshops, forums, and
presentations on international issues and events
Integrate Global Perspectives into the Curriculum

Incorporate international issues and awareness
into current courses where appropriate

Develop new courses on international issues

Expand Faculty, Staff, Administration Global

Provide contact with foreign colleges and
