Development Specialist
(Full-time)

Staring Salary Range: $35,653 - $42,783

RESPONSIBILITIES: Assists the Director of College and Alumni Development with successful coordination and implementation of all Alumni and Foundation events including golf tournament, wine expo, and community 5K runs with responsibility for financial outcomes.  Implements strategic direction and recruitment for President's Circle of Donors; manages transfer scholarship programs; identifies and researches potential donors and maintains prospects in Advancement database; represents the Foundation at community events; and performs other duties as assigned by the supervisor.

This is an exempt, professional staff position.

REQUIREMENTS:

A bachelor's degree and one to three years of related experience required, including event coordination and management, and fundraising experience securing gifts/sponsorships of up to $5,000.  Applicants must have excellent communications and interpersonal relations skills, marketing skills, and proficiency in a Windows-based computer environment.
