RESPONSIBILITIES:

The Registrar plans, organizes, directs, staffs, evaluates, and continually improves the credit registration and records function of the College.  The registrar is responsible for the integrity of academic and student information, including handling, storage, and disposal of permanent, confidential and official student records.

Responsibilities include overseeing the College's student information system (Banner) as it pertains to student records and registration; ensuring FERPA compliance; administering grade processing; supervising the coordination and evaluation of graduation applications; developing and administering the credit evaluation process; supervising and evaluating staff; developing and writing reports for internal and external entities; and performs other duties as assigned. 

This is an exempt, administrator position. 

REQUIREMENTS:

A master's degree in student services, educational administration, business, or a related field and three years of direct student services experience, or five years in a related area, are required.  Candidates must have substantial experience with a student information system, Banner preferred; a proven record of successful supervisory experience in a customer-oriented environment; experience implementing and using new technologies; and proficiency in a Windows-based computer environment.  Equivalent technical training, education, and/or work experience may be considered.
