Web Communications Associate
(Part-time)
Hourly Rate Range:  $15.61 - $17.69

RESPONSIBILITIES:

The Web Communications Technician is responsible for managing and developing Harford Community College's website, including developing, maintaining, and disseminating College web standards and providing guidance to all departments and individuals with HCC web pages and content.

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to, assisting with web-related issues including site design, content creation, and information architecture; providing writing and editorial support to departmental web pages; managing the mobile website and mobile applications; performing research and analysis through site reviews, usability testing, online surveys and web traffic analyses; creating, designing, and implementing training in the College's content management system and content development; and performing other duties as assigned by the supervisor.
REQUIREMENTS:

A bachelor's degree in marketing, computer technology, or a related field and one to two years web content management experience required.  Applicants must have experience writing web content, experience with Sitecore or similar content management system, and experience with search engine optimization and web statistics analysis.  Excellent writing and editing skills and proficiency in a Windows-based computer environment are also required.
