RESPONSIBILITIES:

HCC is seeking a detail-oriented person to join our Institutional Research team.  Duties include, but are not limited to, extracting data from the College's database program (Banner); creating ongoing enrollment  reports and historical student files; analyzing student and course data; summarizing analyses in graphs and tables; assisting with administration of campus surveys; using Excel for data entry and analysis; and performing other duties as assigned by the supervisor.

Work schedule is up to 20 hours per week, Monday through Friday. 

 

REQUIREMENTS:

An associate's degree and experience summarizing and analyzing data is required; a bachelor's degree is preferred.  Applicants must be competent in MS Office programs (Word, Excel, PowerPoint); have outstanding attention to detail; and good communication skills.  Preference will be given to applicants who have completed college-level coursework in statistics and who have experience using SPSS or SAS and experience with survey administration and analysis.
