Administrative Assistant - Enrollment Services
(Part-time)

Starting Salary:  $10.30 per hour

RESPONSIBILITIES:

HCC's Enrollment Services is seeking a customer service-oriented individual to join our team.  Duties include, but are not limited to, assisting visitors/customers in person and by phone; processing admissions applications, registrations, and schedule changes for credit and noncredit students through data entry; maintaining student files; processing bill payments with checks and credit cards; processing academic transcript requests; and other duties as assigned by the supervisor.  

Work schedule is up to 20 hours per week, Monday through Friday, either 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. or 10 a.m. to 2 p.m.  This is an hourly, non-exempt staff position.

 

REQUIREMENTS:

High school diploma or GED, supplemented by college computer courses, is required.  Associate's degree is preferred.  Equivalent training, education, and/or experience may be considered.  Applicants must be proficient in Microsoft Word and Excel and have knowledge of database management.  Strong customer service skills, ability to understand and follow complex written and oral instructions, and strong knowledge of office procedures are also required.
