A bachelor's degree in physical education,
exercise science, fitness technology, or kinesiology; three
years of experience in fitness training, teaching, or fitness
center management; experience in developing and implementing
wellness programs; and supervisory experience are required.
College-level teaching experience is preferred. Applicants
must be proficient in a Windows-based computer environment.
Candidates must possess a
current CPR/AED and nationally-recognized personal training or
strength and conditioning certification, or be willing to obtain
offer of employment at Harford Community College is contingent
upon the results of a mandatory background screening.
Employees must submit within 30 days of hire official
transcripts of all degrees earned.
