RESPONSIBILITIES:

A detail-oriented individual with strong customer service skills is needed to provide clerical support and assist visitors and users of the Northeast Maryland Higher Education Center in Aberdeen, MD.  Duties include, but are not limited to, greeting and assisting visitors, producing correspondence and other documents, data entry, assisting center users with classroom technology, and performing other duties as assigned. 

Work schedule is 15 to 20 hours per week, and may vary from week to week.  Hours will include Monday to Friday, 11 a.m. to 2 p.m., two Saturdays per month, 8 a.m. to 4 p.m., and/or additional coverage as needed. 
 

 REQUIREMENTS:

 

 

High school diploma or GED, one year of clerical or office experience and proficiency in a Windows-based computer environment required.  Applicant must have excellent communication skills. 

Any offer of employment at Harford Community College is contingent upon the results of a mandatory background screening.  Employees must submit within 30 days of hire official transcripts of all degrees earned.
