Certified Lifeguard
(Part-time)

Starting Salary Range - $10.00 - $11.95 per hour

RESPONSIBILITIES: Assures the safety and protection of each patron at the College's swimming facility, resolves customer problems, maintains proper pool chemistry, conducts regular pool equipment inspections, monitors pool and surrounding areas for cleanliness and safety, and performs other duties as assigned by the Athletics Director. 
 
REQUIREMENTS:

Candidates must have completed certified lifeguard training, including CPR and First Aid.  Preference will be given to applicants with pool operators training. 

The minimum age of 18 is required for all positions with HCC, except for limited areas where pre-approved exceptions may apply.  The certified lifeguard position does not currently qualify for the minimum hiring age exception.
