Recycling at Harford Community College

Harford Recycles!

There are collection sites throughout campus for the following recyclable materials:

  • Clean paper and cardboard
  • Aluminum cans
  • Glass and plastic bottles
  • Rechargeable batteries
  • Film containers (collect in the Photography Department at Joppa Hall)
  • Cell phones (collect in the Globe Cafe, Student Center)

The following items are recycled as part of campus operations:

  • Fluorescent lights
  • Computers
  • Yard waste
  • Printer cartridges

Take Action!

All members of the campus community are urged to participate in the recycling program. Good stewards of the Earth's resources reuse and recycle materials and purchase products made of recycled components when possible.  One of Harford Community College's goals is to increase campus wide participation in recycling efforts.
