Venue Information

APG Federal Credit Union Arena at Harford Community College

The focal point of the newly renovated Susquehanna Center is the state-of-the-art arena addition, the largest indoor venue in Northeastern Maryland. The arena serves as the home of Harford's Fighting Owls basketball and volleyball teams and is available for a wide range of other events for the campus and community to enjoy. Additional sporting events, musical performances, commencements and trade shows are just some of the possibilities awaiting visitors.

Chesapeake Theater

The Chesapeake Theater is located on the Harford Community College Campus in the Chesapeake Center. Supplementing the Amoss Center, it hosts a variety of artistic performances, including the Phoenix Festival Theater and many children's theater programs.

Amoss Center

The Amoss Center opened in May 2000. Named in honor of Senator William H. Amoss, Harford Community College alumnus and lifelong friend to the College, the theater addresses the cultural requirements of a rapidly growing community with eclectic interests.

The 908-seat performing arts center serves the needs of both Harford Community College and Harford Technical High School through a partnership with Harford County Public Schools. It provides a venue for general assemblies for the high school and for varied presentations sponsored by the College, including children's theater, ballet, orchestral concerts, recitals, operettas and other expressions of human artistry. The 10,000 square-foot seating area also serves as a complex for affordable educational, cultural, social and community activities.
