Harford Dance Theatre will hold auditions for
The Nutcracker
on Saturday,
August 21, 2010. Auditions will be held at the Amoss Center located on the
campus of Harford Technical High School, 200 Thomas Run Road, Bel Air MD 21015.
Please enter through the doors at rear loading dock. The play, directed by
Jessica Treherne and Lisa Mion, will be performed Thursday, December 2 through
Sunday, December 5, 2010.
Dancers Ages 8-13 With a Minimum of 1 Year Dance Training:
Registration 10 AM
/ Audition 10:30 AM -12 PM
Adult Actors/Dancers Ages 16 and Up:
Registration 11:30
AM - 12 PM
There will be no formal audition
for this group.
Dancers Ages 12 + With a Minimum of 3-4 Years Dance Training:
Registration 12 PM
Audition Class

Phoenix Festival Theater, a community
theater at Harford Community College, will hold auditions for the chilling
musical Sweeney Todd—The Demon Barber of Fleet Street. The play will be
performed September 10—19, 2010.

No previous
experience is necessary and all roles are open to anyone 18 years of age and
older. One young male between ages 13 - 20 will be needed for the role of Toby.
Those auditioning should bring sheet music and be prepared to sing 16-32
measures; an accompanist will be provided. Actors will also be taught music from
the show and will sing that as well.
