GED® Test Preparation

Your Maryland High School diploma is within your reach.GED Speakers

  • Prepare to take the GED® examination and earn a Maryland High School diploma.
  • GED® reading, writing, social studies, and science classes
  • GED® math class
  • Test-taking skills
  • Fifteen weeks, one or two evenings a week
  • Tuition and books are paid for by the student.
  • Adults must be 16 years of age or older and officially withdrawn from school to enroll in GED® classes.
  • Scholarships are available.
  • Senior adult and disabled retiree tuition waivers are available.
  • Eligible for VA benefits

Important New GED® Test Information

Harford Community College has a new testing center where students can take the computerized GED® test. HCC's new Pearson Vue Testing Center is located in Edgewood Hall. GED® testing will be offered at the new testing center beginning in July 2014. For more information, call 443-412-2160 or email literacy@harford.edu.
