To meet the challenge you have to LEARN, LEAD, and SERVE your community.

 

Spring semester programs now available.

 

Earn 4 “Learn”  credits

Options: 

· Attend College Life LEaD workshops available on campus: schedule

· Complete on-your-own credits online (see selection details below)

· Sign out Leadership topic DVDs from College Life Office (see selection list below)

 

Earn 2 Lead” credits and demonstrate campus involvement

Must complete both to satisfy LEAD requirement:

· Attend at least 2 SGA meetings or other “lead” events AND

· demonstrate involvement in one campus club, committee, or organization (including athletics)

 

Earn Community Service Credit

Options:

· Participate in 2 College Life service designated Community Involvement activities (on or off campus - see calendar for dates)

· Attend Alternative Spring Break (Application and deposit required)

· Complete 8 Hours documented community service

 

To enroll in the LEaD Leadership Development Program, fill out the online application form, or contact Elaine Gisriel at egisriel@harford.edu or 443-412-2628.

 

To earn certificate, all credits must be attained by May 1, 2013

Those who complete the challenge will be awarded a certificate, will be invited to attend the Student Recognition Banquet in May, and will earn a College Life leadership trip (location to be determined).

 

ON YOUR OWN LEARN OPTIONS:

 

If you choose the on-your-own option, either sign out one of the DVDs from the College Life Office (lower level of the Student Center), or watch one of the short clips on www.ted.com (search on Ted.com for title).
