At the Cashier's Office, you can:

money    Pay your tuition balance.

  • BY TELEPHONE – Please have the student’s ID number, appropriate credit or debit card information, AND the amount to be applied to the account.

  • ONLINE -- Parent can ask their student to go online and use OwlNet.

  • IN PERSON -- Bring the bill or have the student’s ID number, appropriate payment, AND the amount to be applied to the account.

  • BY MAIL -- Mail back the bill with appropriate payment.

HCC works with Nelnet Business Systems (NBS), a third-party contractor, to set up student payment plans.  Application is by online only.  Click here to complete the online application.  You may apply for HCC/NBS for the Fall 2013 semester beginning May 22, 2013.  The last day to apply for HCC/NBS for Fall 2013 is September 9, 2013.  HCC/NBS is not available for summer or winter sessions.

 

   Add funds to student ID card.

 

Students can add funds to their HCC ID cards to purchase items in the College Store, in the Globe Cafe, and from the vending machines.  To add funds, students must present their ID cards at the Cashier's Office with appropriate payment method.  Please note that a refund check will NOT be issued should there be any funds left on the ID card.

For credit students with HCC student ID cards, cost for a one-trip ticket is 50 cents or a 12-trip ticket is $5.  Trips are considered one-way not round trips.

 

 

Responsibility for Payment of Tuition and Fees

 

When submitting your registration, you assume responsibility for tuition, fees, and charges.  Additionally, if your charges become delinquent and are sent to collections, you will be responsible for the collection costs.  Tuition and fees are non-refundable after the refund deadline.  In order to avoid an outstanding financial obligation to the college, you must officially drop your class within the stated refund period.  Non-attendance does not constitute a refund or removal of the debt.  To check refund dates for credit, see below.  To check refund dates/policies for non credit, click here.

Please note:  Refunds are processed approximately four (4) weeks after classes have been dropped.
