Summer Programs

Will there be an orientation meeting for summer programs?

  • No, students registered in Kids on Campus and Discovering College will receive an orientation packet with class schedule confirmation approximately 4 weeks after Harford Community College receives the registration form. The packet will include information to help you and your child prepare for these summer programs.

For all other programs, assume you are registered and plan to attend the first session unless the college notifies you that a program has been cancelled.

How will my child get from one class to another (for Kids on Campus and Discovering College students)?

  • All classes are staffed with a teacher and a teaching assistant. The assistant escorts students from one location to the next.

How should my child dress?

Also send a backpack and sweatshirt labeled with your child’s name if the participant will be attending a course in our air-conditioned classrooms. Please send your child in a raincoat or poncho if it is raining.
