Digital Photography Features
This class is NOT for the beginning student. Topics include
advanced lighting techniques, using props, taking better
close-ups, and group portraits. This class is helpful for
those with a Digital SLR or more advanced point -and-shoot
digital cameras with Aperture Priority (AV) and/or Shutter
Priority (TV). Check your manual for these features
before registering.

Introduction
to Computers
Have you been wondering what computers are all about? This
session is designed for the complete beginner and will
gently nudge you into the computer age. Learn to use the
mouse (it doesn't bite!), access programs such as Microsoft
Word and Excel, and even take a short journey to the World
Wide Web. No experience necessary!

Photoshop Elements
The secrets of successful photo manipulation are here! Learn fundamental
image editing techniques and utilize the basic tools that
will help you enhance any photograph. This class is for the
beginning Photoshop user; however, students should have
basic computer skills to participate in this class. If you
do not have basic skills, register for the Introduction to
Computers class.

digital camera, terminology and tricks of the trade, and how
to find those admirable shots. Familiarize yourself with the
digital darkroom, image storage devices, composition, and
lens settings. The class ends with a practice field study on
campus.

Not quite a beginner, but still have a lot to learn? This
class is for you! Learn some of the more advanced features
your computer has to offer. From merging and mailing lists,
to borders and shading, create documents that will dazzle.
This class will help you get the most from your PC. Students
