English as Second Language (ESL)
If you are a foreign born adult (16 years of age or older) who would like to
improve your English communication skills, the English as a Second Language
(ESL) program can assist you. You will have the opportunity to improve your
listening, speaking, reading, and writing skills. FREE day and evening classes begin
every six weeks in the Aberdeen and Edgewood areas; evening classes are held in the Bel Air area.
New students may sign up for
classes by attending one of the free advising sessions listed below. Room
numbers for advising sessions will be posted on the front door of the building.
Former ESL students may enroll in classes by
calling 443-412-2616 or 443-412-2054 or emailing
literacy@harford.edu
This program is supported by grant funding
from Maryland Literacy Works and the U.S. Department of Education.
