Are you interested in learning or improving basic reading, writing or math
skills? Enroll in FREE Adult Basic Education I (ABE) literacy classes,
ABE II review classes, or a one-on-one literacy tutoring program for beginning
readers. With the help of supportive teachers and volunteers, you will be able
to work at your own speed to meet your goals. Day and evening ABE classes meet
twice a week at centers throughout Harford County; literacy tutoring is
scheduled to meet individual needs.
Attend one of the free advising sessions listed below to receive help in
assessing your skills and enrolling in class. Room numbers for the
advising sessions will be posted on the front door of the building.
Registration is not necessary for the advising sessions, just walk in.
This program is supported by federal and state funds granted by the
Maryland Department of Labor, Licensing and Regulation.
