EKG Technician

Completing our EKG Training series will prepare you for National Certification as an EKG Technician. You will learn basic cardiac anatomy, patient preparation, arrhythmia identification, treatment modalities, and pharmacology.


Required Courses:

  • Be at least 18 years of age

  • A high school diploma or GED

  • Foundations of Healthcare

  • HIPAA Compliance- (HIPA)*

  • Healthcare Externship Preparation

  • Healthcare Professionalism

  • Healthcare Provider CPR

  • Human Anatomy & Physiology- (HAP)*

  • Introduction to Business Computing

  • Law & Medical Ethics

  • Medical Terminology- (MTER)*

  • EKG Technician

  • EKG Technician Externship

*If you are comfortable with testing out of courses above contact the Test Center at 443-412-2352*
