Veterinary Assistant
What are the
prerequisites for this program?
There are two
academic assessments you must take and pass before you
can register.
The exams are
basic math (ACA) and basic reading (ACR).

Your score for the ACA must be at an eighth grade level

Your score
for the ACR must be at a ninth
grade reading level

A high school
diploma or GED
-
At least 18
years of age

Animal First
Aid & CPR
-
Massage
Therapy for Animals

Assistant IV: Surgery, Anesthesia, and
Emergency Care
What textbooks are needed for the program?
All textbooks for CET classes are available in the
college book store
located in the
Student Center.
