|
Learn to provide hands-on care under the direct
supervision of a nurse. Nursing Assistants help patients to eat, dress,
and bathe. They also serve meals, make beds, take vital signs and
observe patients' physical, mental, and emotional conditions and report
any change to the nursing staff. Completion of
the theory and clinical components of this program gives you the knowledge needed to
work in a hospital as a CNA or take the National Test to
be a Geriatric Nursing Assistant (GNA).
