What are the prerequisites for this program?

There are two academic assessments you must take and pass before you can register.  The exams are basic math (ACA) and basic reading (ACR).

• Your score for the ACA must be at an eighth grade level

• Your score for the  ACR  must be at a ninth grade reading level

• Healthcare Provider CPR

• A high school diploma or a GED

• Be at least 18 years of age

Is there a clinical or externship?

• Enrollment in Dental Assistant Externship required.

• Uniforms are included, and will be distributed at the first class session.

• Proof of immunizations and a negative TB skin test or Chest X-ray must be completed before the first day of the Externship.
